Here is a video from the KUSI broadcast of the Bill Watrous workshop at Correia Middle school in November 2010. The First Friday Music Club (FFMC), with a grant from Sanyo, sponsored the event. Sanyo also donated thousands of dollars in equipment to the school's video production class. Glen Fisher, director of the FFMC, is a strong believer that Jazz icons like Bill Watrous have a long lasting positive input on students. It was amazing to hear how much the students improved musically in that short amount of time under Watrous' tutelage. Like Glen says "There is no better way than learning from the best". Enjoy!
