Shakespeare and All That Jazz- featuring Delfeayo Marsalis

The San Diego Shakespeare Society is teaming up with the First Friday Music Club and CIMA to bring an amazing concert of Duke Ellington's 'Sweet Thunder', featuring the arrangements of trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis as he conducts the Correia Middle School Jazz band on a selection of the songs. Correia students will read Shakespeare between songs- it will shed a whole new light on Shakespeare! The concert it preceded by two days of master classes with Delfeayo Marsalis at Correia Middle school with the help of some of the best professional musicians. The question remains- To swing or not to swing!
