First Friday Music Club

Glen Fisher’s First Friday Music Club and Correia Instrumental Music Association are excited to bring professional trumpeter Derek Cannon to Correia Middle School. Cannon will visit for a three day workshop with the Correia Middle School Jazz Band November 26 through November 28, 2012, finishing with concert on November 29, 2012 at Sufi Mediterranean Cuisine.  Sufi is a newly discovered venue for music in San Diego, where people under 21 can enjoy music and great food. The owner of the restaurant is kind enough to have Correia Middle School Jazz band, led by Derek Cannon, perform at their restaurant. Besides the school jazz band showing off what they've learned at the three day workshop, Derek Cannon will perform with Glen Fisher Con Alma- Anthony Smith on piano, Glen Fisher on bass, and Carlos Vasquez on drums.
