With a Community enhancement Grant from the County of San Diego Peter Sprague's band & First Friday Music Club students will perform a concert featuring the music of legendary group CREAM. This will be an evening of the music from the epic power band Cream. The Sahara Grim Quartet and other selected First Friday Music Club students will put put their 16 year old spin on 'White Room' and 'Sunshine of Your Love'. Then the professional musicians will play a set, morphing the rock angled Cream songs into modern Jazz reality; 'Badge', 'Born under a Bad Sign' and others, like you have never heard them before. Some young, very talented woodwind and horn players will join in on a song and the concert will end in a final jam with all the teen and professional musicians taking the stage. This will be a fabulous concert and a wonderful opportunity for a selected group of Glen's students to perform with some of the best musicians in the world.
